With a population just over 80,000, Penticton is the largest city in the Okanagan-Similkameen region. Many homes, farms, business properties, and industries operate on water wells drilled by JR Drilling. The first settlers arrived in 1865 and started one of the Province's most successful cattle ranches. Then in 1910 it was decided that Penticton would serve as the headquarters for the new Kettle Valley Railway. After the second World-War, Penticton entered its golden years of growth and prosperity, and the rest as they say, is history. Penticton is located on the most Southern tip of Okanagan Lake, and in the early years, the main form of transportation was via steamboat on Okanagan Lake. With its agricultural based economy, water has always been an important part of Penticton's economy. We offer residential water wells, irrigation wells, geothermal and commercial drilling services.
